Jake and Emerald

Emerald came to Westside with her parents in 2015 when they became the pastors. After finishing HighSchool a couple of years later, she left for an internship at a church in Valencia, California for three years. After graduating from their program and marrying Jake, God put it on their heart to come back and be apart of Westside. They’re here continuing to learn as much as possible about church ministry as they help out by directing social and in house media, and leading worship for Sunday services. Their favorite thing about Westside is the kind-hearted and welcoming people.

Emerald’s dream in life is to have an electric Vespa on a small piece of land with a couple of chickens and a cow. Her favorite plant is a fiddle leaf fig tree she named Ferdinand. Jake, in his free time, loves playing music, or enjoying a dense theology book over a cup of tea.
